Can an alien commander allow himself to choose love over duty?

Jessica’s orderly life changed forever when she became the guardian of her orphaned niece and nephew. She is still trying to learn how to be a parent when they are taken by aliens.

After a desperate attempt to escape their captors ends on a deserted planet, she faces an entirely new set of challenges. The appearance of a massive alien warrior and his crew offers a chance of rescue, but she also finds herself irresistibly drawn to the stern male with the kind eyes.

After the plague that devastated his race eliminated his hopes for a family, Captain Vadrar dedicated his life to preserving order in the Confederated Planets. When the pursuit of an enemy goes disastrously wrong, he is shocked to discover a small group of precious females and children fighting for survival.

As they work together to find a way off the uncharted planet, he grows increasingly captivated by the alluring human and her enchanting children. His duty compels him to return them to Earth, but his heart tells him that Jessica and her children belong with him. Can he ignore a lifetime of responsibility and ask them to stay?

Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.

Also in this series: Mama and the Alien Warrior, A Son for the Alien Warrior, A Family for the Alien Warrior, Daughter of the Alien Warrior, The Nanny and the Alien Warrior, A Home for the Alien Warrior

A Treasure for the Alien Warrior is book eight in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips. I really enjoy this series. It’s cute, adorable, and sexy.

I read this on Kindle Unlimited. I have also bought several of the books in the series when I get a GC.

Jessica is a hard working single Aunt who has been charged with raising her niece and nephew. Jessica, the kids, Laura a helper, and Hannah her friend all go on a cabin trip together and end up being kidnapped by the Vedeckians. Jessica is no sitting violet, she plans an escape. In the process of their escape they all crash land on an inhabited planet where they plan to live out their lives; until she meets Vadrar, a seven foot tall Ciri alien.

There’s plenty of steam, but many sweet moments. The bonds are immediate: Hannah gravitates towards Tenrac, Jessica feels the pull to Vadrar and Oscar & Ellie (niece and nephew) immediately connect to him, and Ketaan and Laura who meet on the ship continue to bond.

I love the kids in this series. They are so adorable and make my heart melt. The interactions with the kids and the aliens are just great.

This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance and a quick read.

About Honey Phillips

USA Today bestselling author Honey Phillips writes steamy science fiction romance about hot alien warriors and the Earth women they can’t resist. From abductions to invasions, the ride might be rough, but the end always satisfies.

Honey wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of five. Her writing has improved since then. Her drawing skills, unfortunately, have not. She loves writing, reading, traveling, cooking, and drinking champagne – not necessarily in that order.

    1. I’m not a fan of the new covers of Ice Planet Barbarian. =/
The cover is what catches the eye and it can’t work for everyone. I find the covers for Treasured by the Alien series a good representation of what you are going to get in the story. Thanks Lisa for checking out my review and visiting. Happy Reading!

  1. This is a Honey Phillips series I still need to try. I love that there are cute kids in it and that you enjoy it several books into the series.
