My Favorite Books by My Favorite Authors
Ilona Andrews will always be at the very top of my list. It is incredibly hard to pick just one of their books as my all-time favorite, but if I absolutely must choose, I think I’d go with Clean Sweep. That being said, literally all of their work is AMAZING!
Patricia Briggs is another auto-buy author for me who easily claims a top spot. Her Mercy Thompson series is my absolute favorite. If I had to narrow it down to a single book in that world, it would probably be Night Broken—though every single one of them is outstanding!
Juliette Cross has written some fantastic paranormal and contemporary romance series, though I’ve personally stuck to her paranormal work so far. I completely adored the Stay a Spell, Nightwing, and The Vessel trilogies. As for a favorite? Don’t Hex and Drive is just too cute to pass up!
Nalini Singh is another brilliant author who masters both contemporary and paranormal worlds. My obsession started with the Psy-Changeling series before I finally moved on to Guild Hunter because everyone kept raving about it. While Guild Hunter is amazing, the Psy-Changeling world remains my favorite, and Heart of Obsidian is easily my top book choice.
Anna Hackett has some incredible sci-fi romance series that I love to read over and over again. She writes contemporary romance too, but I haven’t had a chance to check those out just yet because I’m so hooked on her sci-fi! My personal favorite has to be Barbarian from her Galactic Gladiators series.
G.A. Aiken (aka Shelly Laurenston) writes several different series under both names that I constantly find myself revisiting. As a massive dragon lover, I adore The Dragon Kin series by Aiken, with Dragon Actually being my favorite (though I love them all!). Writing as Laurenston, her Pride series is so funny, crazy, and silly, but my top pick there is definitely Beast Behaving Badly.

Those are all great picks. I would add in Kelley Armstrong and a few other historical mysteries or just mystery/ thriller writers for me.
Thanks for visiting and sharing your favorite author and genres, Anne! Kelley Armstrong is a great pick.
I don’t think anyone else has mentioned these authors this week. It’s fun when TTT bloggers do that. 🙂
