Happy Tuesday, book lovers! Welcome back to Tell Me Something Tuesday. Since we all secretly think we’d survive the end of the world, let’s put it to the test. Who makes your zombie apocalypse dream team?
I’m putting together a squad of the feifest, smartest, and most kick-ass heroines I’ve ever read. Honestly, these ladies are my ultimate survival companions if the world ever goes boom.

Up first on my dream team is Kate Daniels from the Kate Daniels series written by the amazing husband and wife team.
Kate is a straightforward, upbeat badass who loves a good fight, a sharp comeback, and protecting those in need. Beneath her trademark sarcasm lies a brilliant, analytical mind and zero patience for titles—she judges strictly by actions. While her harsh past makes her slow to trust, once you’re in her inner circle, she’s fiercely loyal. Just don’t cross her, because behind that resilient, cheerful exterior is a ruthless edge that comes out to play when real evil rears its head.
Up next on my dream team is Gin from the Elemental Assassin series written by Jennifer Estep.
Gin is a retired assassin and master chef with a lethal combination of stone and ice magic. She’s hardcore, razor-sharp with her knives, and fiercely complex. Beneath her brutal, bleak reality is a woman with a strict moral code who can effortlessly kick ass while keeping her humanity intact—all brought to life with a powerful, unforgettable beauty.
For my final pick, I’m going with the powerhouse duo from Dragon Actually: Annwyl the Bloody and Fearghus the Destroyer.
Annwyl is a human with a legendary knack for decapitating legions—she is an absolute force of nature driven by fierce passion and unstoppable determination. By her side is Fearghus, a magnificent dragon who, of course, can shift into human form. Together, they are immensely powerful, and let’s be honest, at least one of them can level entire cities!
