A woman is lured into the shadows of a dangerous manhunt...
Wanted and on the run...

For twenty years, Kendrick, a white tiger Shifter, has been the Guardian of un-Collared Shifters who spend their lives living in secret—and in fear of being shunted into Shiftertowns. When Kendrick’s group is discovered and forced to flee, Kendrick is more desperate than ever to protect them

His only salvation was in a beautiful stranger.

In a diner in the middle of nowhere, lonely waitress Addison Price has seen a lot of unusual drifters come and go, but none has ever captivated—and intimidated—her like the imposing fugitive who wields a broadsword with incredible skill. But when he risks all to protect her, Addison’s fear turns to empathy—and empathy to desire as she learns more about her savior. Soon she’s more than willing to help the crushingly sensual white tiger and his cubs in a passionate bid for freedom. Whatever the cost.

Also in this series: Hard Mated, Dark And Dangerous, Bodyguard, Lone Wolf , Feral Heat, Dark and Deadly

~ 4 White Tiger Stars ~

This series has fast become one of my favorites to read. I enjoy the assortment of shifters, the world building is remarkable, and the character dynamics are great. Ashley knows how to write a great paranormal romance and she keeps things new and fresh with each installment.

White Tiger is book eight in the Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley. It can be read as a stand a lone, but I feel you will get more enjoyment if you read the novels in order.

Kendrick has popped up briefly before. He’s a protective daddy, caring and a fighter. He’s fighting/protecting his son’s as well as trying to find a safe haven for his shifters to live and to stay free/un-collared.

Addison is a strong female who’s had a few bad breaks, but she doesn’t let that get her down. When things get crazy at the dinner she’s working at, she immediately sides with the man who protects her and his “cubs”.

The author does a suburb job connecting you to the characters. Their conversations and the characters themselves feel realistic. The world created is vast and it keeps growing. The series started out in Austin, Texas and has expanded to other Shiftertowns as well as shifters who avoided getting rounded up and collared. Their life, culture and how they deal with everything and the changes happening; is fascinating.

This book takes us on a different turn. We leave the Shiftertowns and move out into the open wide world, where their is tension and danger. The danger is not from humans or the Fae, but from other shifters. This adds a whole new dimension to this already vast and unique world. Dylan also shows up and plays a large role. Even though he stepped down as shifter alpha you see that he is still powerful and much more involved in things.

This series has something for everyone to enjoy. We get a vast array of shifters, great world building, fast-paced, action-paced and romance. I can’t wait for the Guardian’s Mate. Just from the little teaser we get at the end of White Tiger we already see it’s going to be another unique and different aspect to the world.
