When I wake up on the ice planet, I’m scared of everything: this place is cold, silent, and the locals look more like blue devils than aliens. To make matters worse, one of the strangers decides I’m going to be his girlfriend and kidnaps me away from my sister. I’m completely and utterly alone. What’s a girl to do?

Well, this girl escapes.

Of course, that means I go from frying pan into the fire, and my situation gets even more dangerous. Just when I have no hope left, a new hero appears. Sure, he’s blue, horned, and has a tail. He’s also fierce, protective, makes me purr...and thinks I'm perfect.

But is what we have real or just a mating instinct?

Also in this series: Ice Planet Barbarians, Barbarian Alien, Barbarian Lover, Barbarian Mine, Barbarian's Prize, Ice Planet Holiday

I didn’t think I could be attracted to the aliens – they look like devils with horns and fangs, and they’re massive. – Lila (Barbarian’s Touch)

Barbarian’s Touch is book seven in the Ice Planet Barbarians series by Ruby Dixon.

In Barbarian’s Touch things start to change for the inhabitants of this alien ice planet. They discover two new human women, Lila and Maddie.

Their is just something about this series that keeps me coming back for more. It’s sexy, funny, and sweet. I also enjoy the world Dixon has created and set up. We have a strong cast of characters and it’s nice to see them again.

I very much enjoy the double POV’s of our hero and heroine. This is a recurring theme in the series and one I like. It gives us a chance to see different aspects of what our leads are going through and how they are handling the situation. This one had a nice twist with our heroine. She’s deaf and so it’s a challenge for everyone, expect her sister, to talk to her. This struggle was real and I felt for Lilia. I also adored her blue alien. He accepts her for who she is and tries so hard to learn ASL and communicate with her. He was so sweet and took his time with her.

I really love the Ice Planet Barbarians series. Their has only been one in the series that had me hoping mad, but really this series is a lot of fun. I can’t wait to read Maddie’s story, Barbarian’s Taming. If you enjoy sexy alien romances, then you might like this series.
