Makl is looking to become the greatest mercenary the universe has known. In true family tradition, he leaves a trail of mayhem and bodies wherever he goes. steals the most priceless of items, ravishes females left and right. But that all ends the day he comes across the biggest prize of all – a human barbarian.

Fooled into thinking her a priceless virgin and captivated by her pale skinned, two-breasted frame, he abducts her, or at least means to. His plan goes somewhat awry. The not-so-innocent human becomes his partner in crime instead of his prisoner, and together they form an unstoppable duo. Tales of their misdeeds and budding passion become a universal sensation, but there’s no room in a mercenary’s life for a mate. Or is there?

For the first time in his life, the Mercenary’s Guide to Prosperity doesn’t have an answer to Makl’s questions, and there’s no visible threat for him to kill. What’s a poor, purple mercenary to do? Admit he’s in love – or ditch the delectable human?

Mercenary Abduction is book four in the Alien Abduction series by Eve Langlais.

It’s another fun read in the series and one you can read after Accidental Abduction. Why after the first book, well because our hero Makl is sent on an errand for his family to bring back a human nanny for our couple from book one.

Our heroine Olivia has been in space for years now. She’s a con-artist and thef.

Makl and Olivia’s plans don’t go as planned and they both end up in jail together. I laughed a lot in this novel. What these two do to get out, oh my!. They end up teaming up to scam and do hists all over the galaxy on their way to his cousins place. He still needs to bring back a nanny. The banter was a lot fun and I loved all the fun they had on their way to his family.

We are also introduced to a new character, Ifruum, a shaggy dog like creature, though that’s not who he really is. All I can say is I loved the twist of who he is and the description of him reminded me of Barf from Spaceballs.

Mercenary Abduction adds new characters, fun twists, sexy alien romance, and more. I had a lot of fun with this story.

About Eve Langlais

~ New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane…with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

  1. Langlais does have a great sense of humor. This series, the ones I did read where nice and fun. Thank’s for visiting!

  2. Not all the stories, but ya most are. Book 2 is alien and alien with the adduction happening to the purple alien man and the last one in this series is a female purple alien, which I haven’t read, so not sure how it is.

  3. Thank’s! I know I think of her as PNR, but she does do the Sci-Fi Romance too. Hope you enjoy the freebies you have.

  4. I love Langlais because so many of her books have a great sense of humor. I haven’t read this series, but I like alien romance!

  5. So is each story human female and purple males? And all are abductions. I’m catching on… it just takes me a bit longer than most! lol. Glad you are enjoying these!

  6. I think of Langlais as primarily a PNR author but she also does the scifi romance as well. I still intend to read her books starting with the freebies I have on hand.

I’m glad you enjoyed this one. Great review!
