Big, bad and purple.

It was supposed to be a simple job. Grab some specimens from Earth and sell them on the interstellar black markets. In and out, with no one the wiser, except Tren accidentally abducts a human.

A barbaric female, who doesn't know how to be quiet and obey. That will affect her selling price especially since she only possesses two breasts, and a single mouth. Yet, in spite of her shortcomings there is something about her spitfire nature that intrigues him.

Maybe he should keep her. He's definitely not keen on getting rid of her after he seduces her.

A space pirate doesn't usually fall in love, but when an enemy decides to take Megan, Tren realizes he will do anything to get her back.

“I am a mercenary, the most feared one in the known universe, and you will obey me or suffer the consequences.” “I’d rather you be my pirate and ravish me.”

Accidental Abduction is book one in the Alien Abduction by Eve Langlais. Such a fun start to the series. This book is fun, light-hearted, sexy and full of laughs.

Megan finds herself abandoned in the middle of the ocean, because her boyfriend decided to get rid of her. Just as she thinks she’s going to drown, she’s picked up and deposited in a space ship. I liked Megan. She didn’t go into hysterics like most women in these stories do. She stayed calm.

Tren is a space pirate and retired merc. He’s a sexy purple alien who ends up with a human he want’s nothing to do with. He’s going to sell her first chance until he decides to keep her. I liked Tren. He lives his life to the mercenary code book and he can’t understand how one human women gets under his skin.

How Megan and Tren meet is funny and I enjoyed the banter between them. Theirs a little danger and subterfuge that kept things moving along too. These two fight the attraction, but in the end succumb. The banter references a lot of pop culture that goes over the big purple aliens head. It’s so funny! I liked how she antagonizes him and how he teases her back.

This was a fun and enjoyable story. There isn’t a lot of depth which is ok with me. It’s funny and full of romance. I enjoyed this so much that I went out and picked up book 3. I’m skipping 2 for now; because it didn’t interest me. I like my women human and my aliens hot and sexy.

About Eve Langlais

~ New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author

Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane…with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

  1. Glad you enjoyed it. And just so you know, book 2 she is human, but raised with aliens lol. My favorite of them is Heroic Abduction because he tries so hard to be a hero and keeps failing at it.. Have fun reading.

    1. Thank’s Eve. The blurb for 2 made it sound like alien/alien. I’m glad to know it’s not and I might just go back and read that one. I really liked Heroic Abduction too for that same reason that the hero tries so hard to be a Heroic Hero, but falls brilliantly. I laughed a lot with that one. I appreciate you stopping in to visit. ^_^

  2. This sounds like a lot of fun – the blurb alone made me chuckle. I have read (listened to) one of her series and mostly like her writing, but those books got a bit too over the top and such as they went on. Since this is the first book I think I should try it!

    1. It’s sci-fi so anything can go. I know the blurb had me chuckling. I had fun with this one. I like the mix of humor, romance, and alien adventure.

    1. Yep, Melanie has read a lot of her work. I read a few different books by this author, but haven’t dived into a series fully until now. It was fun!

  3. This is the only book by her that I’ve read. Honestly, I had problems with the purple. I kept picturing a cartoon character. But the story was good and funny at times.

    1. I’ve read a few other scifi romance that had aliens with gold skin, green skin, and strips. I don’t mind the different colors. I’ve tried tow other series of Eve Langlais that had shifters in it. They where good. Thank’s for stopping in Lorna!

  4. It was interesting. I skipped book 2 and I didn’t read book 8 the final book. Those two didn’t appeal to me just from the blurb. Book 7 was my only disappointment in the series, but other then that I had fun with the Alien Abduction series.
Thank’s for visiting and happy reading. Hope you enjoy when or if you try the series.
