Welcome To October’s Monthly Wrap Up

October was busy with AYSO Soccer Games, helping out at the Snack Shack for soccer, & the kid is certified to referee, so he did a few games.  We had dentist and orthodontics appointments.  The kid also decided to join the Math Competition offered at school, so he’s studding for that.  Plus we’re getting ready for the 8th grade Washington Trip in Nov.  He can get a College credit for it; if he does the work and attends after school classes, so the last two weeks of October we’ve had something everyday after school; except Mondays.

  1. Sounds like a fun month! Love the pumpkin carving. We don’t do that anymore. Maybe next year my husband and I will do one!

    I hope the trip to DC is a good one. Hopefully things will be running again by the time they go!

    1. The kid still wanted to carve pumpkins, so we did. We pick out all the pumpkin seeds and clean and toast them too. It’s a fun tradition that the kid enjoys.

      The tour coordinator for the 8th grade DC trip told use as of right now only 1 place on their list is closed. Ya, It’s not cool that stuff is closed and they will miss out on things.
