Dasher – Represents speed and agility, embodying the excitement of Christmas Eve.
A book that you read so fast?
My pick is Sweep with Me by Ilona Andrews. I devoured this novella in a day. It’s one of my favorite novellas.
Dancer – Symbolizes joy and celebration, reflecting the festive spirit of the season.
A book with a musical element?
I didn’t read anything with a musical element this year (2025) so, I’ve got no pick for this one.
Prancer – Signifies grace and elegance, highlighting the beauty of the holiday.
A book that has a beautiful winter cover?
I haven’t read anything holiday-ish, so I picked story that has a holiday paranormal winter feel.
Vixen – Represents cleverness and charm, adding a playful element to the reindeer team.
A book that has a childhood element?
I went with childhood friends to lovers in Heart of Obsidian. This is one of my favorites in the Psy-Changeling series.
Comet – Symbolizes hope and inspiration, reminding us of the magic of Christmas.
A book with magic in the title or story
I’ve got Magic Unleashed on my TBR to read. I featured it on the blog with a Guest Post.
Cupid – Represents love and affection, emphasizing the importance of togetherness during the holidays.
A story that has a pet in it
I went with Veiled Justice a Supernatural Thriller. It’s got a bird side-kick. I’m loving the Other Detective series.
Donner – Signifies strength and resilience, embodying the determination to deliver joy.
A strong main character
I love a strong main character; especially if it’s a heroine. I love Kate Daniels, Mercy Thompson, Elena Deveraux – Guild Hunter, but I’m trying to pick someone new to feature then the main ones I love. I’ve been listening to the Parasol Protectorate series featuring Alexia Tarabotti. This is a series outside my comfort zone and my first Steampunk genre.
Blitzen – Represents lightning and speed, reflecting the urgency of Santa’s mission.
A book you read in one setting
I went with The Russian Cage book 3 in the Gunnie Rose series. I adore the Graphic Audios for this series and when I start I can’t seem to stop. I devoured this in a day and half.
Rudolph – Symbolizes uniqueness and overcoming adversity, teaching the value of acceptance and kindness.
A book with a unique element
I’m going to go with Three Mages and a Margarita. The unique element for me is that our heroine is a human with no magical abilities, yet she gets herself entangled with the magical world.

What a fun post. At first I thought it was going to be about books with reindeer and I was thinking… I don’t know if I’ve read any! LOL
LOL.. I haven’t read any reindeer books either. It’s a cute book tag and for this time of year it’s perfect. Thanks for visiting!
How fun! Clever idea to match books to the reindeer. I’ve read several of those and loved them, too. I keep seeing that Christmas paranormal and it looks good.
Good Spirit… Ya, I’ve been seeing it a lot too. Thanks for visiting!
