Sage has always been a little restless. From bounty hunter to bar owner, she still hasn’t found a purpose she truly enjoys. So, when she’s given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the ultra-exclusive Aletheia resort, Slake, she jumps at the chance to get away and think. As a Mageia whose power is centered in plants and the earth, Sage assumes she’ll be more tempted to see Slake’s magical one-of-a-kind gardens than play with the sexy vampire-like Immortals all over the resort. Only, one beautiful man catches her eye, right before she inadvertently unleashes a savage magic best left dormant.

Lucius is constructing new security plans when he finds himself drawn to a seductive mortal guest at his father’s resort. When he realizes the sexy blonde is a security threat his sister has allowed onto the island, he sets out to learn all her secrets. When Sage raises ancient magic that could threaten her life, Lucius rushes to save his tempting mystery woman. Only when he nears her does he realize she is the woman he has been waiting thousands of years to find. She is his.

Will the power Sage unleashes destroy her, or does fate have other plans?

Slake His Thirst is set in the same world as Guardians of the Realms series, but takes place several years later. It’s a very quick steamy read.

I’m a big fan of the Guardians of the Realms series and enjoyed returning to the world. You could read this as a stand-alone and for those new to the world it might peek your interest. Thou I would recommend reading this after reading the Guardians of the Realms series. We get so much world building and introduction to the Mageia and Immortals that it helps to understand the instant connections. As for fans you’ll enjoy returning to the Guardians world.

Sage is a badass thou she doesn’t quite know what she wants to do with her life. She comes to the Aletheia resort to relax and visit her sister who works there. Plants are her power and things take a turn when she visits the one of a kind gardens in Aletheia.

Lucius runs the resort and is an immortal. Immortals have one and only one mate. They know them on sight and when his mate calls, he comes.

Sage and Lucius have an instant mating, for her to survive, since she’s not immortal yet; they must complete the bond. The author does a wonderful job with her sex scenes. They are steamy light the bed sheets on fire hawt. As for the plot its not much since this is a quick short read giving the read just a taste.

Slake His Thirst was a steamy read. If your looking for a little romp in the wild then you’ll want to pick this one up or start with the Guardians of the Realms series. I do hope the author writes more in this spin-off series. I can’t wait for the next installment.
