Monthly Wrap Up

Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ Dec. 2025

Welcome To December’s Monthly Wrap Up

The first week of December I went onto my Goodreads Want to Read List and cleaned it out.  I removed books I felt I know longer wanted to read and then those books in a series; I removed all, but the book I was on or the 1st book.  I’m getting ready for 2026 and deciding on what Reading Challenges to participate in.  I also downloaded the FREE 2026 Reading Tracker offered up by Elaine Howlin.  I used this tracker in 2025 and loved it!  This year she has the same version and a newer version.  Visit her site and check it out.  It’s an amazing tracker!!

My second & third week I got ready for family to come into town for the Holidays.  I also had a lot of free time to get several audiobooks in; before all the craziness starts and kid is out on winter break.  I worked on writing several reviews too and closing out the year with End-Of-Year posts.

Christmas Week we all ended up sick.  I spent Christmas medicated to make through the dinner I was hosting.  It happens every Christmas the kid gets sick, then dad, and last me.  We get better and then it all happens again.  I’m spending New Year sick again with a head cold.

Grandparents are in town until Friday Jan. 2nd.  It’s always wonderful to have family visit for the Holidays, but it can also be stressful.  We all got some great gifts and ones we wanted for Christmas.  We also spent time watching all the Holiday movies & when the sun came out we got out of the house for a walk. December in California is the rainy season and we’ve had a lot of rain. We’re ringing in the New Year with rain ^_^.

Congratulations to these winners from this month!

    1. Being sick around the Holiday’s seems to be the norm now. =/ Oh well! We did have a great time and I’m ready to dive into some new books once grandparents leave. Thanks Lisa for always supporting the blog. Have a wonderful January.

    1. It’s first time I’ve used a tracker besides Goodreads. I wanted to try something different for 2025 and see if it helped me with my reading. Being sick during the Holidays/New Year seems to be normal now. It’s no fun, but I’m surviving.
Thanks for visiting Anne. Have a wonderful January!
